Lonely Sighs

Walking down the road, just after the sky had snowed,

It was cold and white, everything that was in my sight,

I thought about your arms around me tight,

and how everything use to feel right, we would just be sitting there,

you alway knew how to touch me with care,

this is my first winter without you,

does your winter feel this lonely too, I wonder what we'd be doing right now,

Laughing when our cat would suddenly meow,

would we be cuddled up watching movies, and I'd be begging you to fill me with goodies,

would I be watching you cook me something to eat, after you learned I was never good with heat,

would we be watching the fire burn, and fighting who it was to take a turn,

would we slowly make it into the room, where all our dreams would then bloom,

would I be able to wake up beside you the next morning, and lay in bed with you until the rain stops pouring,

would we be talking and you suddenly kiss me,

or tell me how much you missed me,

would I be watching you sleep at night, or paint a picture with colors so bright,

I can't believe these days are over,

maybe I should have kept that four leaf clover,

Now there's nothing left in this small house, except for me and a little mouse,

everyone said we were going to last, but it came out way to fast,

Sometimes I can't believe you're gone, as more and more the day drags on,

But I only have one thing left to say, when did you decide you were going away?
