A Lonely Soul in Paradise

Alone in a tropical Eden,

The crashing waves along the sandy shores seems to be the only thing in sight,

Water and food is bountiful in this haven, so my body will never starve,

But what my soul craves are the clear memories of those I hold close to the heart,

For as long as my mind remembers their faces,

The will to live will burn brightly from those few precious memories with my loved ones,

Guiding me through a maze of  tormeting emotions: depression, anger, and loneliness.

Nevertheless I'll push foward and survive,

No matter how lost I may feel in this paradise.
