but my dear you really have
you say you have never crossed the border
into any new lands

to places far and near
from the lowest point of the dead sea
to up in the asthenosphere

you go to all these places
without having to leave your bed
you go to all these brand new places
because you are stuck inside my head

you are in my thoughts on lengthy plane rides
and long walks on the shore
you are in my thoughts everywhere i go
no matter what is in store 

so when you tell someone where you have been
you don't really understand you see

but you have been everywhere through me
