The lonely walk
The first time i saw her, i knew i recognized her from my past life. The gleam of her beauty blinded me with the aspiration to one day have her by my side; i needed her love. My heart, damaged beyond repair, experienced hope for the first time since the innocence of childhood. Irreparable from those who kicked me while i was down and from those who saw nothing when they looked down at me. The beauty of it all is that you know what is coming the closer you get. The feeling was solely on my side. Her smile was enough to make me forget, but once she was away, i realized her smile wasn't enough to find my way through the storm that ensued. Now i walk away from the hiddeous truth, of loneliness, wishing i was wrong about finding the one from my past. I walk away because i love you.
