THE LONER’S HEART

Mon, 05/20/2019 - 02:19 -- mwanja

It is not their pain or gain

If you ever fail

You need not be low

For the soul has no growth

For him that lives alone

Tears of a loner

Fall on the terra firma

And instantly tumble dry

And not a soul may realize

That another has been hurt

Meditation and lamentation

of a man who knows no friend

Passes away like the wind

That is felt but not seen

And soon forgotten none-the-less

The battle can be two faced

Live life with a sense of belonging

For you never know what you’ve got

Till away it flies from your grip

To the land of the unknown
