Long Gone

We started off as being strangers, days went by and we became friends. Things started to change between us. We had our first hug our first kiss. We stayed up late nights texting each other and having a few laughs. You were the reason for my smiles, we shared our feelings, we felt the same for one another and I felt like we were going to happen, try to make things work out. Always talking every day and night wanting to be with one another. I thought you were different but I guess I was the stupid person being so vulnerable and giving in to easy, you told me we couldn't date (your voice still rings in my head) your feelings changed, it hit me hard, my heart dropped all I could feel was my heart sinking and the tear drops dripping. I was angry. You couldn't come clean with your feelings you said we should just "be friends", but why? You can't be friends with someone who means so much to you and always have always will, then I messed up I called you names you didn't like, our friendship died and there's no way of fixing it, now I got to deal with the unbearable pain, knowing you moved on and me I'm still holding on. I remember you telling me "no guy is worth crying for especially not me" that's when you grabbed me hugged me and said you was sorry. But this is life and I should learn to live it but even though I tell myself I've moved on deep down I still keep holding on to what little is left. I keep trying to fix things between us but there is no point in doing so when all you do is ignore me. I’m a nobody to you now, I know I've made a mistake and I regret it , I got to take the blame for it now that your gone you left me with an imperfect smile. Love is a silent killer and I was a victim of it.
