As Long As I Feel

She gave me a kindness I never felt before

stirred a different kind of emotion in my heart

over a short period of time

it grew very quickly

the feelings ovewhelmed me

my heart was rarely used before I met her

and out of nowhere it was filled

with powerful peaceful emotions

shocked, it was awakened and it flourished

developing into a warmth that flooded over me

it was a new feeling

that she inspired withen me

I had no defense against my hearts yearning

it is the greatest feeling that I have ever felt in my life

and I was embraced by its warmth

I was lost inside the feeling she filled me with

and I never wanted to be found

even when my body grows old and it fails or breaks

as long as there is a piece of me that can feel

I will never forget her.
