I hope to dance in a wide open field
And spin around waiting for the rain to fall;
No wish for an umbrella as a shield;
Waiting for my lover's enchanted call.
I hope to perform In a coffee shop,
And hit every note that makes your soul swell.
Singing only with meaning, without stop;
Hoping the song from my heart finds you well.
I hope to be free as long as I live;
With no regret, just faith and submission.
Not to waste the life into which He gives,
Without fame of my own recognition.
Before I die, I pray to God I live;
Using every moment to love and give.
