Long NIght


Gray pavement covered with yellow grime stretched for miles Terrified tears streaming down her face until she tasted warm saltwater Emptiness surrounded her with a sound of an audience holding their breath She screamed a painful song releasing all her sorrow But she had work to do tomorrow She gleamed a fake smile and dragged herself home.
