For Long Until Then
A day like this I cannot help but wish For the endless and wondrous sun’s kiss But alas I know I could not take it My fairness so pale and not a great fit Powerful rays and beautiful graveness If only its glory I could witness Instead sat down and peering from distance My beating heart will retain persistence Though I pine and long and strain forever This will o’ mine will for long endeavor Overcome this struggle; fight the battle No more throbbing my heart will not rattle Conceived in love and meant to be whole Soon declared I will afford a new soul Then for long yes redemption will be paid My being the rays will see newly made
