As Long As You Love Me Too

Love isn't just a feeling,

or an action,

or a reaction.

Love is respect,

and kidness,

and support.

Because I love you,

I give you hugs,

I show respect,

I treat you fairly.

Because I love you,

I love myself.

No,

I won't let you talk to me like that.

Yes,

I love you.

No,

I won't allow you to make feel bad.

Yes,

I love you.

No doesn't mean I don't love you,

No means I do love you,

it means I love myself too.

Because heaven knows if I didn't love you

I wouldn't be here for you.

But because I do,

I am here,

and I will be.

As long as you love me too.
