Longboard

The open road is beckoningAnd your minutes tick awayDon’t leave me here to rust in peaceCarpe Diem! Seize the day! I’ll fill your cup of cheerAnd make you new again,I’ll show you a world of wonderYour loyal childhood friend I’ll give you the gift of freedom,I’ll give you a sense of libertyWhen the world is bringing you downI’ll let you ride on me I’ll give your face the ashen glowThe spontaneity that you seek,The fossilized memories of all rides past,I can smooth out all life's kinks Through the  winding paths and neighborhoodsAnd through the twisting streetsWe make each other whole again,We set each other free.
