Longer Than

I look down

At my tattoos

And I think

Tattoos last longer

Longer than what?

Longer than pain

And happiness

Tears or smiles

Longer than childhood

Or high school

Even

Family or friends

Tattoos last longer

Than retirement

And sometimes

Even Love

My tattoos

Will last longer

Than anything

I go through
