Longest Night

Every night the sun falls in the sky,
And with the sun goes my confidence.
The night brings feelings I can’t deny,
Eight long hours of silence.

Reliving every moment with you,
Before I finally try to close my eyes.
Having trouble falling asleep on cue,
My mind just seems to defy.

Tonight will be the longest night of my life.
