Longing

My mind has faded to black

as I let go of my love

knowing you won't love me back.

So they hurt you...

they killed you...

and I was there

I've seen it all,

I'mthe one to catch you

if you ever fall

When you come back

I reach out a hand to be denied

So my mind fades to black.

Nobody looks at me like you do,

two green eyes full of beauty

and you are a dream come true.

So my love became another belonging

a boy with a dream of you returning

but instead I'm left here longing.
