The Longing Thoughts
The longing thought of what might be,
Blind the mind of what we should see,
Some of hopes and dreams that flow so high,
With aspirations that may never die.
Told to dream big and reach far for what we crave,
Because life soon ends in a shallow grave.
But never lose sight of who held your hand,
Guiding your way through this unfamiliar land.
