You tell me to resist, and you must insist.
Well I told you the conditions of our deal, and that's exactly how I feel.
I don't want you to commit the same mistakes,
one little puff is all it takes,
and you turn into one of those fakes. Dont be like that be a hero,
when they ask u how much times have u blazed?
Gladly say Zero!
I look up to people who deny the drug, those are the true thugs.
The people who live in the hood, know what's good,
and still did the best they could. Society explains a boy from the ghetto don't ever make it,
usually end up all drugged out butt naked.
Don't just be another kid, do something nobody else ever did. Live out and do your best,
put your abilities to a test. There are so many drugs don't abuse it,
you have so much potential use it!
I want to be here when you need a shoulder,
this world is dark and their hearts are colder. My 2 brothers really fell in deep, and they've lost some things they couldn't keep.
They lost their opportunity to shine, but u and your sister still have time. Don't regret your years,
face your fears,
don't fall into the pressure of your peers,
you'll save your mom and pops and myself alot of tears
The reason our generation hasn't made a great impact is because we don't believe. we don't ever dream of something bigger Martin Luther king Jr. Had a dream and it came true there have always been believers but our time doesn't have anybody willing to do it. I'm not telling you to be a leader of the world or of ur city I'm just telling you to believe in yourself and be a dreamer be a leader of your own life. Thanks for the note on my iPod it really helped i hope this will do the same for you.
