Look

Look

Look me in my eyes and tell me what do you see

because of my past would you look at me different

because I lied do you believe I can change because I am human would you believe my tears because I

smile?

Do you believe I am happy if I told you I smile just for show would you ask me why

because I am who I am and you don’t me know me would

that change how you look at me?

I am human like everyone else  in

this  world

but the pain that shows from the color of my skin and because my name is too black do that make me different from  everyone else

I want to feel the wind against my hair and just be free just be me i am a lost bird looking for someone to keep me up

but that someone is just me

look to your right look to your left tell me

what do you see when I look in the mirror?

I just see me
