Look Behind the Mask

you would hear the words between the lines  she says 

you would see shes not quite what she seems 

you would know theres days she doesnt even want to live anymore

you would hear her desperate pleas for help 

you would see just how miserable she truly is

 you would know shes drowning in her pain

you would hear the  harsh words people say about her 

you would see just how hard it is for her to communicate

 you would know just how badly  shes hurting 

you would hear her voice break when she tries to say shes okay 

you would see how much she struggles to ask for help 

you would know she needs people by her side to tell her everything will be okay

if only you would look behind the mask
