Look Behind You

Life’s a wild strange journey

lifes a crazy freeway walk

lifes a nutless spanner

and I’m one to talk

it’s a lengthless journey

that money can’t buy

an endless universe

you can’t look in the eye

you say you can’t find me , you say I’m inside you

i say look behind you , but that won’t be for long

sometimes you don’t know your living

till something goes wrong

too many people are not forgiving

And love is dying and long gone

there’s a wall in a window

I can’t see through my mind

and youve gone all limbo

getting underneath my time

I feel your crisis

and all that arises

framed in a telescope

looking at what’s gone on

you keep your thoughts in ice

and it wasn’t nice

and you had a price

I had to look twice
