Look At This Light

LOOK AT THIS LIGHT by: Judy Chellah

Light is an electromagnetic radiation within a certain portion of the electromagnetic spectrum.

In other words

Light is a kind of energy that brings light into a dark arena

Light helps us see not only a location

But it can open our eyes to a bigger legislation

When we think of light, we think of the sense of sight

But we might not think that people can be light

Right now our world is dark

Filled with hatred and jealousy

Some disembark

They say “I don’t want to be part of this conversation”

“All this politic talk can cause isolation”

The news talks about the bad things that happen in our society

Rather than finding a solution to help the variety

Some can’t even speak about it because we’re scared of hateful remarks

We are cautious about our lives and busy respecting the oligarch

While most kids are learning the golden rule and breaking it

WE are learning what to do when we get pulled over and taking the hit

Everyone says we need change

But is it change for this country or a race rearrange?

You can't take this country “back” to how it was before

Take the “U” out of united because we have doomed our states and done way more

American is the land of the free that came to this country seeking a new start in a land that was already occupied

But now when other races come to do the same

You are suddenly mortified

Plain isn’t always good

I get so scared that one day this world is going to be filled with so much hate, that we forget what UNITY looks like and what LOVE feels like OH MY GOD please help us!

Before we make a mistake that we all might regret and fills us with disgust, YOU become the light that everyone can trust and change us.
