Look At Me

Look At Me

Look at me

What do you see

My face is smooth and fine

Under my face is raw by design

My soul is screaming in my head

But all you can see is quiet instead

My eyes have shed tears for days

You look at me as if I am in a haze

You won’t ask me

I won’t tell you

I need you to look at me
