A Look in the Mirror


I once believed I was simple, never to be changed Then one day a change occurred The mirror showed someone different, new Young and lively so full of heart That's what the eye saw But the deeper the look The more revealed Behind the lovely eyes was a sad story The eyes spoke wonders of naive days before The eyes showed the power to overcome In the mirror was a changed and unbroken spirit Lively and full of heart
