A look into the Outsiders mind

Here I am standing before the crowd,

wondering if whether or not if my voice is too loud,

but right now I shouldn't worry about the volume of my own voice,

because I'm telling you a poem, and that is my choice,

there were times when I felt like a knight from a fairy tale,

but those moments were few because I was afraid that I would fail,

despite how many times people told me to have more faith in my abilities,

I couldn't help but doubt my own capabilities,

for some odd reason it turned into a force of habit,

I accepted it, but refused to be controlled by it

I have a moral that's been with me since elementary school,

it's a basic thing everyone has learned and that is the golden rule,

I've always liked its motto, treat others how you want to be treated,

because I believe that's how the good people of this world are created,

I truly believe that its the little things in life that makes a persons day,

I've experienced the magic that happens when one  person goes over to another just to day "hey"

if there is one thing I am, that would be expressive,

however, there are times where I would be very excessive,

but if you knew how much I've improved, you'd be wowed,

and in the end, I just want my friends and family to be proud.
