A teacher is much like a king

seated on it's throne

you wear your crown of intellect

and speak in a slow drone

If I could change one single thing

about the class you teach

I'd lock that voice and crown away

and safely, it i'd keep.

Don't you see the seeds you sow

upon our young clear minds?

Teaching us to tune you out

and leave our grades behind.

If you were only to open you eyes

perhaps then you'd see

that teaching isnt at all about you

but rather me and we
