(poems go here)Three years I’ve seen you

Through the halls,

Never have we talked

I didn’t exist to you as you did to me

It’s summer now, my senior year yours was last year

I walk into my first job interview

Ended in success

Training came little did I know you would be there

Worked Friday nights closing with you

My clueless, how you would flirt with me

Come to the front of the store just to see me

How clueless.

5 months later you left

Left to boot camp……. No good byes

One message....one message from on social media

Gave you courage to talk to me, tell me how you felt

Thousands of miles away, late night talks you in your Rack

Me in my own bed

Months after that message you came home

Me and you that sunset picnic on the beach

You down on one knee

5 months after that night, two weeks from today

We will be wed and blessed with a lift time of happiness

Look at us now you my Sailor

And when you must leave me,

Overseas you must go

I will be here

I will be waiting

For you no matter the length of time

Waiting forever and always

Look at us now
