Looked Like Heaven

Your skin flaunted that of the moon

A few bumps here and there

But smooth and glowing

Your laugh embered a soft glow from a fire that started in your heart

And I became silly enough to hop in

Not even caring that I might burn

Because every burn by you was a burn worth taking

I know later on, you would heal me

Your eyes sparkled that of the stars at night

When nothing else was awake but our silence

And even by each others' side, we still only spoke silence

But that was the loudest

And all I needed was the touch of your hands

To let me know that I was healing

Your humor was catchy, that of a good song

And I kept on pushing replay, it was just that good

I, that of some lost soul

A few rocks here and there

But a tattered soul

My mind wanted nothing but you in it

And I became silly enough to let you in

Not even caring that I might lose it

Because every time I would lose my mind

I know later on, you would heal me

And I know, that love is some spell

But I needed it so badly

Because you looked like Heaven

And I felt like hell
