Looking Back

Looking back

I was afraid.

Afraid of losing her.

Slow.

Unresponsive.

What was wrong with my mommy?

Daddy came,

He fixed the problem.

How?

He said,

"Sugar is the cure"

Now I know how to save my mom,

When her sugar gets to low.

I will always know

Just by looking back.
