Looking Back

As I sit through the depression

Wondering, Searching

For a way to change the path

Taking the unseen road some come to call home

Attempting to save myself from sleep deprivation

Looking Back to what I had

Looking Back to what I tried

I sit watching waiting

For a Hero near and Dear

At that moment I realize he's already here

Right beside me he stands

Almost magically things become very clear

All this happens while I Look Back and see that new road to hold real dear
