Looking into the Future
Dear 30 year old me,
Life was easy when I was younger
I had my parents, a house and four brothers
I had a sister and I got a niece
I even had 3 tiny dogs with me
Being a teenager is fun
I had friends and had much fun
Once the real life problems started to appear
My view on life changed for good
I've cried and I've yelled like everyone else
But i've gone through so much pain it hurts to say
Now I should be old enough
To understand why this all happened
I've lost my two grandpas and my lovely brother
Now that I'm older who else?
To my 30 year old body... Sarah how have you come this far?
It's been so hard just these 17 years
so take this time to thank god and yourself for coming this far
Goodluck and have the best time of your life
Sincerely, you're old friend... well the 17 year old you.
