Looking Glass

When I look at you

I am as complete

As can be

When you look at me

What do you see

In the mirror

I create?

Sister and Brother

Hand in hand

You are nothing

Without me

I am nothing

Without you

So don’t be shy

Cuddle closer

Stare into me

To your hearts

Content

Find yourself

As I find me

Contemplate a while

Don’t mind the distortion

Your eyes just blur

Perfectly natural

Perfectly normal

Nothing to worry over

For the mirror never lies

You say

“I see hatred,

A monster”

“Silly” I say

“There are no

Monsters here,

What an outrageous

Imagination we have”
