LOOKING GLASS

Looking Glass.....

Mirror, mirror on the wall

who is blessed most of all,

for blessed am I,

for I am who I am,

because HE made me so.

The Lord moulded

and shaped

this child, into the likeness

of His own image.

This looking glass

of life

into which I gaze,

mirrors one’s past,

present and future

‘Tis the imaginary

I see,

Forgotten have I,

the love and the blessings

poured out on a soul like me.

In the looking glass

looking back at me

is the reflection ME!

For mirrored there

is one’s exterior

that image I see

not the blessings,

not the love the Lord

who has graciously

bestowed on me.

Thus, I now say thank you Lord

for the looking glass

of life,

which looks back me,

and for all Your blessings

I now can see.

Mirror, mirror on the wall

who indeed is blessed, most of all.

Mirror, mirror, looking glass……
