Looking in the Mirror

As I look in the mirror

I see a girl that looks independent

I see a girl that is scare for the future

When I look in a mirror,

I see a girl who doesn't know where she belongs

In the mirror I see a girl looking at a computer

for her future college.

When someone else looks at a mirror with me

they only see a girl

The mirror in the bathroom

over the sink, the mirror in the hallway,

in a room

they see a girl while I see

someone that is lost,

A girl who wants help from someone

Without her helping everybody else first

for once.
