Looking into the Mirror

To my dearest sister,

Gazing into her reflection

deep within her soul

thoughts swarm her mind

as tears flow silently from her eyes

always seeing her imperfections

this monster keeping her prisoner

having her chained to these thoughts that flood her mind

making her feel out-casted and alone

but if only she could see what I see

she could be released from the monster's grip

she has this radiant unique soul

as she cannot imagine as such

others do not see the pain she suffers

she tries to hide her pain to spare from spreding it

displaying her compassion to doing this

making her couragous

when she puts pen to paper

her creativity comes to life as does she

the intricate details illusrate her passion

but if only she could see what I see

she is a masterpiece

one of a kind.

Love,

Kayla
