Looking From The Other Side
Recruit me? For what?
To give me a job that I'm soon to give up
So I can realize that this is the part of my family ties where I don't meet the standards set the line
Our for honor?
Pleading me this persuasive slang where I'm left to wonder
Is it selfish to care for my own life?
Whether or not I wanna die or whether I wanna fight?
Ask yourself the same
Did you do thus out of commitment or just to be doing things
Don't take a single child from her father
Forced to get hurt, oh no but she's hurt with honor
A broken leg is always going to be a broken leg
Cause at the end of the day the same tears shed
No matter if its from active duty or acting rudely
Or is it for the money?
Money can't buy my happiness
Leading me into a world of contracted confinement
Telling me all the beautiful things that will slowly throw my life down the drain
The sharp knife of a short life
Have you yet to tell me about the anxiety disorders?
Or better yet when you see that dead body lying on the cold hard ground?
Forcing it out of your memories and refusal of telling a soul
Things left in your heart of memories untold
So again, recruit me for what?
Because I have a better chance of survival if I shot myself at home in the foot
Recruit me now and I'll die later
I rather stay home where I can savor the flavor..
