Looking out my window:by Nadira

There’s trees, some with beautiful red flowers and others bare. Some with cherry blossoms and others with leaves. There’s divine green grass with dandelions and bushes, lamp posts nearby. It’s silent, empty and bare. The enticing mouth watering smell of food dances in,as it lingers I feel myself drift away.I’m somewhere else eating that same food. Then I come back to reality as the smell drifts away too..There’s a circle for children to play with gates surrounding. There’s the sidewalk, the color of streets, though this isn’t all as pretty as it seems. The sidewalks cracked and bumpy, some trees standing up by strings,1 or 2 people walking around with masks, there’s not much to be seen. Now you know what I see, what do you see?
