Looking Out the Window

The mountains are high and the valleys are low, you look out the window, take it all in, way up here you're so small.. Looking down on valleys out the window, you feel it, you know it but no one else can look in

You look out the window, take in the scene, it looks so beautiful so serene, so peaceful, so unreal, how can beauty and pain be in the same realm, the pain erupts and diminishes the view, 

You look out the window once more, no one can look in, no one understands, you're alone in your world, the pain is unreal with no where to turn, peace is within view but just out of reach..the pain reveals the devastated weaken spirit

you look out the window, you see the view, you take it in, try not to think, try not to feel, you look out .. Take a short breath, take in the beauty, mental escape but the pain comes back an unyielding force that crushes the dream, hope of peace

no one can truly see or understand the pain that she feels. no one can see in the window, you feel it, you feel the pain, they can't feel the pain felt within, it's unreal its earth crushing...all you can do, is all you can do just to breathe... to barely survive.. But you keep fighting the fight is real..the pain is real, the fear is real

But you look out the window and you know you have to push through, you don't know how or even if you can, or how much longer your trampled strength with last but you do, you keep fighting to survive the disease that's drowning you, battling for your life, battling for the peace that you deserve.. Don't give up.. Keep fighting the fight that sometimes feels unconquerable, unbearable, unreal  .. 

Just look out the window and see the beauty and take it in, find the strength and courage to fight for life
