Looking Through You
A millennia is the feeling of walking,
Progressing forward, never looking back,
And yet I wonder,” When will I stop?”
Trains stick by then zip away, and
Right before you know it,
It’s just you again
When is the time right?
To calm down,
To descend back to earth
Day and night slipping like grains of sand,
Years become months, months to weeks,
Hours to minutes, and minutes to seconds
Then, from a night of darkness,
There is, but one gleaming star.
That is the feeling when you arrived
As if a spark of energy
Coursed through my veins
When seeing you
I shall not let the train leave,
You are there,
And I will go too
The first time in the millennia
I feel beyond warm,
And just your presence provokes that
Someone who understands and listens,
Through darkened times,
Through long days and nights
All this time you were out there,
And now I see through your eyes
I am not alone
