Loose Associations

I feel like what we had

was a completely magical

Nothing more

than a sweet fantasy

The travel through your heart

opened me up to more than I thought would

Every aspect of our relation was so unrea
l

Tears come to my eyes
because the feeling was so good it almost hurt.

Enduring your love,

regardless if it was love or not

it was something I wanted

Something I needed

I was trapped in a loveless box

buried,

waiting for someone
to dig me up and pry me out

Who knew the person to do it would be an old friend
a good friend.

But in the end
 thats all you was

only a friend.
