LOOSING A LOVED ONE

I saw you gradually slip

In to the jaws of death

I cannot forget the moment

When you took your last breath

I tried all my efforts to revive you

But they all went in vain

I live a nightmare to this day

You will never come back again

The torture through which I went

No words can define

You were taken away from me

As if you were never mine

I pray for my self to get courage

I pray for your soul to rest in peace

I wonder how a loved one can be taken

With such tranquility and ease

How much I miss you I wish I could express

How much I love you I wish I could say

How much I want this time to turn back just for once

So I could rectify any mistake if I had made that day

Nothing is now there that can be done

Nothing is now there that can be said

I moved on with my life like everyone else did ..

Accepted the changes that came ahead

I still have you in me you are there in my mind

You are a gem for me who is and always is mine

No one can take your place you live in my heart

No matter how many times in life there is a new start

I promise my love for you is there and will always be there

I promise my thought for you is there and will always be there

I promise your existence for me is there and will always be there

I promise your reality for me is there and will always be there
