LORD I NEED YOU
Now I lay me down to sleep.
I pray the LORD, my soul, to keep.
If I shall die before I wake.
I pray the LORD, my soul, to take.
When my friends forsake me I know who to call on and cry out too.
When temptation rises to kill me I know whose blood to scream out too.
As my heart flows with aches and pain, my eyes run heavy with tears.
I've tried calling on my friends and family, but they've all seem to disappear.
The temptation is striking me, and I don't know how to make it stop.
LORD, please show me the right way so that I can make my enemies drop.
I've suffered so much torment that happiness cannot find me.
Patience is the keyword that you used so GOD I ask you to please guide me.
When I cry out, help me to cry about more happiness instead of devastation.
So I can heal my spirit and become of more preservation.
LORD, I need you now more than ever, so please answer me.
LORD, I need you now so you can redeem me.
