a losing fight

I Am- a friend
Wonder- if it enough
I Hear- about hate and betrayal
I See- hate between new and old friends
I Want- people to get their heads out of the clouds

I Am- a friend
I Pretend- to see pace
I Feel- like telling everyone to grow up
I Touch- the world that used to be
I Worry- that the hearts won’t mend
I Cry- to see old friend fight

I Am- a friend
I Understand- that things won’t go back to the way it was
I Say- that they should put the past behind them
I Dream- to see the day things will go back
I Try- to lead the way to the solution
I Hope- that they would mend their friendship

I Am- a friend
