Losing Her
If I could recall years I squandered away
so many of them out there it's hard to say
Which to retract there's quite a few
I'm positive I'd start from my time with you
It was love at first sight
I know it's said that can't be
but what do they know
because it happened to me
Two years passed before I saw you again
you a college freshmen me a senior when
I fell in love I can't speak for you
however it seemed you did the same thing too
Such a rare occurrence would then take place
with you as my co-ed roommate within a male dominant space
We did everything together it became common law
I became your Chief and you were my Squaw
We were chilling and everything was sublime
it was time for summer break
and everything was fine when
in a hot headed rage I destroyed the powers that be
Now of all the things I would take back
I'd take back my temper and that a fact
Because when I lost it I lost you
and that was definitely something I didn't plan to do
