losing myself

would you look at me, losing myself in every way

i lost my Defenses to the one i thought i loved

i lost my Will during the battle i fought inside

i lost my Strength in the Madness of my own mind

i lost my Beauty in this mess of a society

i lost my Soul to Music

i lost my Friends by losing my Character

i lost my Sight to the bright idea of something new

and i lost my Heart

when it was stolen by You
