Losing Touch

No matter how hard I try to keep you,

My love for you will never be enough,

You hurt me without know that you do,

I’m really soft but I try to act tough.

My heart aches for you to be here with me,

You seem to be doing just fine yourself,

And I’m the last person you’d want to see,

But you don’t realize I’m by myself.

My grip is slowly starting to let go,

I’m losing my mind thinking about this,

And I’m trying hard not to let it show,

But I’m cracking and I’m no longer Chris.

I wish you’d talk to me anytime soon,

Because all I do is talk to the moon.
