Losing You

Pain, sorrow, misery and loss,

you make me feel them all.

The thought of losing you,

a long deathly fall.

Why do I feel this way?

Like my mind is all bruised.

I tried so hard not to lose you,

you’ve made me so confused.

Slowly breaking I am,

I think this is dying.

A vomiting feeling,

it’s true I’m self denying.

My heart rate is rising,

I feel myself shaking,

an impending doom,

this world now breaking.

My breath has been taken,

the throbbing in my head,

all this is too much.

Why am I not dead?

You were once my friend,

now that’s unknown.

I wanted to tell you my pain,

but I was scared and alone.

Sharpness in my chest,

I am calling for you.

Please don’t forget me,

when this is all through.

Is our friendship over?

Maybe time to say goodbye.

I’m really anxious,

I want you to reply.
