Losing You

Losing a friend is one of the hardest task you'll ever over come.
A closely bonded relationship is hard to break,
But when it breaks,
It's over.

You feel like life is coming to an end.
Breathless, heart racing, questions racing too.
Where to begin?

You want him back.
He was the only friend you trusted,
But now he has changed.
He has found better people to be with,
Those who have more money and bigger house than you,
Those who take him on vacations with them.
Those friends don't honestly mean anything to him,
He's just using them look good.

You've been turned down.
You knew this was going to happen,
But now's the time,
The time to start your search,
The search for a new beginning.

But where to begin?
You go to a new group but you don't fit in,
You try a sport,
And you aren't good enough.

Life has got you questioning
What did I do to deserve this?
Will he come back around?
If so, when?

You try to ignore these thoughts,
But you just can't.
You are jealous.
You decide to turn around,
You're going back for him.
The friendship meant the world to you,
Even after he had hurt you,
He'd just watch you cry,
No comforting words or hugs.
Friends are suppose to be there for one another,
Yet you go back for more.

On the inside you see a trust,
A passionate friendship that means something to both of you.
When will he realize that?
They say friendships come and go,
But this one wasn't supposed to go.

Life is about the fun, friendship, and love.
You had all that, but now it has disappeared.
All because of "them".

Jealousy, is mean,
Jealousy is cruel,
But jealousy is just a faze.
Once this faze passes all will be fine.

One more question,
Why do I have to lose you?
