Loss

Death sparks contradictory emotions.

Disappearance from our earth is morbid,

Suffering is also a misfortune,

But what if the afterlife is splendid?

Majestic mountains and breathtaking streams,

Heaven’s existence: myriad of thought.

Do not know how it’s an infinite dream,

How and where the delicacies were bought.

Uncertainty ignites flames of wonder,

Not a single one of the monsters know,

Whether they will go up or go under.

Or will our bodies just decay, below?

Full of mystery, we can only smile,

Trust God, to make life and beyond worthwhile.
