The loss of a friend.

One day you were here, & the next day gone.

I know we’re growing up, but I can’t seem to hone living day by day by myself.

Questions like, Are you happy were you are? ; Have you eaten today? ; Are the new friends you made nice? ;

Do you ever miss our friendship the way I do? ; haunt my heart everyday & night.

I know deep down we’ll always have a connection, but will we? Will you still feel our connection?

or will the flame die. Will all our memories just be a memory? Will all our times in history just be a time

in history? If so, if so, if so, I’m glad I got to enjoy our memories, I’m glad I met you, I’m glad you made me smile.

Though it may hurt, the memories of our adventures can help heal,

the loss of a friend.
