Lost
I've been to the town of lost.
And we aren't brought there
we're tossed.
And your yearn for God
is taken and locked.
Like Moses's people, we're slaves to our Pharoah
Denying God, denying God
And taking a spare load
No longer telling people about God
But getting told.
jesus, Jesus, JESUS!
Today it seems like, it doesn't matter
What you say
But how you deliver it
But that isn't going to bring you
Deliverance
I've been to the town of lost
Where they commit
Like the devil and the truth
Fetal position, with a roof
of lies and religious
collisions
but this flame is bullied by a whisper
a flame surrounded by tame
full of surrender
"I will never leave you, nor forsake you"
I've been to the town of lost
Where people aren't convised
every inch of them is fooled
Being fed lies, they only think they're full
But sin leaves you hungry
like air entering your stomach
Inflated deception
Decrepit vitality
tormented feelings
and stained spirituality
I've been to the town of lost.
But nothing compares
To love that's consistent
A powerful God who's being is
omniscient,
And will forgive you
No matter how many times you, decided to quit
A God who brings you to resolution
Leads you to land of milk and honey, it's proven
and your troubles are buried.
I've been to the land of found
and you're not brought you're
carried.
